SLIIT bags the “Crown” for the 2nd time in National Cisco NetRiders 2010
| Participation for the competition was from 50 teams comprising of 150 students from Cisco networking academies in Sri Lanka namely SLIIT, Vocational Training Authority, Lalith Athulathmudali Vocational Training Institute and Information Technology Center, University of Peradeniya. The contest was inaugurated by Prof.Lalith Gamage, MD/CEO of SLIIT in the presence of, Mr. Lokesh Mehra, Regional Manager-Corporate Responsibility, Cisco South Asia and Mr. Jagan Jothivel, Area Academy Manager, Cisco India and SAARC, Mr.Uditha Gamage-Cisco Legal Main Contact, Manager PDP of SLIIT and other Cisco Academy representatives Among all the teams participated, SLIIT marked all 3 awards at the competition beating Cisco Local Academies VTA, LAVTI and University of Peradeniya. Winners are as follows: Team Name “COM3”, led by Jude Roshan Mendis won the NetRiders Winner Award where Team Name “Seven”, led by Randunu Nandasena was the 1st Runners Up. Team Name “Edsge3” led by Nikila Sasmitha Peries won the award for being the 2nd Runners Up. |
