The Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology recently joined hands with one of the oldest Universities in Australia to expand the institution’s educational opportunities for SLIIT students. This University which was officially founded on 1 January 1890 is ranked among the top 10 Universities in Australia consisting of 03 campuses at Hobart, Launceston and at Burnie. It provides the facility of world class research accomplishments to students.
SLIIT students can benefit the exciting opportunities to be more innovative and creative using the advanced resources at the University. First two years of studies at SLIIT will be considered equivalent to the first two years of studies at the University of Tasmania (UTAS). Therefore students completing the second year at SLIIT and wishing to continue studies at UTAS can join the third year of their Bachelor of Computing in Human Interface Technology, Bachelor of Computing in Games Technology and Computing and Bachelor of Information Systems Programmme. This is yet another step taken by the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology to advance the knowledge and produce world class professionals throughout the world.
