SLIIT emerged as champions in Novices Women's Singles and Novices Men’s Doubles and won the Women’s runner-up trophy at the 12th Classic Badminton Championship 2010, organized by the Western Province Badminton Association witch was held at Indoor Stadium of the Moratuwa University.
