BBA (Hons) in Business Management

The rapid changes in the global business environment, primarily due to the application of Information Technology demand business professionals with modern Business Management Qualifications and Skills.
To meet the need of such professionals the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) offers a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Management in conjunction with Sheffield Hallam University of United Kingdom.

The Program

The curriculum of this program provides a sound knowledge of all functional areas of management in order to understand management issues and problems in a holistic prospective. The students who successfully complete the first two years will receive the National Diploma in Business Management (SLIIT) and after a further year of studies are eligible to receive the Bachelor's Degree in Business Management offered by the Sheffield Hallam University, UK

Career Opportunities

Graduates and Diploma holders in Business Management will have career opportunities in a variety of Business Organizations. They can enter into executive and managerial positions in the functional areas such as Human Resource Management, Production Management, marketing etc…

Course Fee

For the first two yearsRs. 70,000/- +15% (VAT + NBT) per semester and for the third year an additional fee of GB 800 pounds will have to be paid to complete the degree in Sri Lanka. However, if a student chooses to transfer to the SHU, UK for the third year, normal SHU  fees will have to be paid.
